Cyprium Metals Ltd (ASX:CYM, OTC:CYPMF) has completed the sale of surplus generators from the Nifty Copper Complex in Western Australia. The company has received the final incremental payment of US$1.2 million (A$1.8 million), taking total proceeds to US$6.4 million (A$9.8 million).
The disposal program, previously flagged in company updates on 22 November 2024, 17 February 2025, 1 July 2025, 17 July 2025 and 31 October 2025, forms part of Cyprium’s phased restart plans for the Nifty operation.
New appointments and funding highlight a big month
It has been a big five weeks for Cyprium, which secured A$6 million via a fully underwritten, non-renounceable 10-for-96 entitlement offer priced at A$0.028 per new share, providing further balance-sheet support as the company advances the phased restart of the Nifty Copper Complex in Western Australia’s Paterson region.
The offer drew solid investor participation, with 344 shareholders taking part. Nearly half (47%) applied for additional shares above their entitlement, indicating continued support for Cyprium’s restart strategy.
Alongside the capital update, Cyprium announced the appointment of Jim Simpson and Amber Banfield as non-executive directors. The company said the appointments follow the recent capital raise that will help fund the restart of the cathode project at Nifty.
Jim Simpson brings extensive corporate and operational experience in Australian copper operations, with a particular focus on heap leaching.
Amber Banfield contributes expertise in ESG, sustainability and carbon accounting.
Cyprium said the new directors’ skillsets align with its transition toward operations at Nifty.
