EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENT
HIGHLIGHTS
Christofer Catania appointed as Chief Technical Officer
Cyprium Metals Limited (ASX: CYM / OTCQB: CYPMF) (Cyprium or the Company), a copper developer
focused on the phased restart of the Nifty Copper Complex in the Paterson region of Western Australia
(Nifty), is pleased to announce a recent addition to the executive team.
Christofer Catania has joined Cyprium Metals as Chief Technical Officer. Christofer is a highly regarded
executive and mining engineer with extensive international experience across a broad range of commodities,
including copper.
Christofer brings a proven track record of delivering technical and operational excellence, taking projects
through studies and into operations, in Australia and internationally. He most recently served as Senior Vice
President, Global Resources at Worley (ASX: WOR), a global professional services and engineering group,
where he led large-scale technical, operational and strategic resource initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
Christofer was also previously the CEO of technical advisory firm MEC Mining and Chief Engineer for KAZ
Minerals, an open pit copper mining company that produced both copper cathode and concentrate.
Christofer is also currently a director of Emesent, a technology company that provides mobile LiDAR
mapping solutions.
His combination of technical expertise, strategic leadership and deep industry experience is expected to
play a key role in supporting Cyprium’s next phase of growth.
Cyprium Executive Chairman Matt Fifield said:
“Chris is creating immediate impact already. As the competent person on our 2024 Nifty PFS and lead
engineer on our Heap Leach restart plans, Chris is well familiar with the Cyprium team and our plans for the
Nifty Copper Complex. Having him in-house has allowed us to accelerate all phases of planning, enhance
our internal and external reporting and communications, and strengthen our technical foundation as we
move into operations and continue to build Australia’s next great copper company.”
This ASX announcement was authorised by the Cyprium Executive Chairman.
